Operating a coffee shop is an act of care.

Care for your team.
Care for your guests.
Care for the space and the community that gathers there.
Care for the systems and processes that support operational health.

But the people holding that responsibility rarely have a place to set it down.

Lee Carter and Carl Blanz are inviting a small group of café owners to gather for something simple:

A space to share honestly about the work of owning a coffee shop.

The challenges, the numbers, the culture, the people, and the stories behind the counter.

This is not a class and it’s not consulting.

It’s a small circle of owners learning from one another and receiving thoughtful support around both the human and operational sides of running a café.

We’ll explore things like:

·       Staff and Customer Experience

·       Sustaining the energy to keep showing up

·       Menu Engineering

·       Culture and belonging

·       Prime Costs

But most of all, it’s a chance to spend time with people who understand what it means to carry a café.

The first cohort will be small, 6–8 owners so conversation can stay real and useful.

If this sounds interesting, we’d love to have you join us.

Take Care.

Lee & Carl

Ps; We’re emailing a well-being checklist for you to assess your health as an owner for anyone who RSVPs to our event. We don’t ask anything other than to take a look and reflect. If you feel alone in this, we’re offering connection.
